Assembly Length

Measured from tip of connector A ferrule to tip of connector B ferrule. The unit

of measure is dependent on the selection in position 12. Each pair of subunits

beyond the ﬁrst two will be 2" longer on each end of the assembly, as shown

(this allows a smaller pulling sock to be used).

Breakout Length

Choose the breakout length for each end. An entry of BF will result in 13.75" on

the left and 25" on the right. The breakout length is deﬁned from the end of the

heat shrink transition to the tip of the connector ferrule as shown. The 7” section

of exposed subunit shown here will exist on assemblies with any connector other

than MPOs selected for connector B, and is non-conﬁgurable. Each pair of subunits
